I kicked it's ass. Go me! 2 As and 1 A- for a 3.9 GPA for the semester and 3.871 after 3 semesters. I have to share/brag, this semester was one of the toughest yet with the work load and 2 kids. February 2nd starts my next semester. For now I am enjoying my time off and catching up on reading.
I hope everyone had a terrific holiday weekend. We sure did, even though Tim had work and missed all the festivities, we managed and Jack and Charlotte were spoiled but everyone. Seems like this year was themed Little People and Leapfrog toys.
Jack has the entire Little People Zoo Talker set: Zoo, jeep and ALL the animals and books to go with it. It took me some time to track down all the individual animals without paying amazon prices of $12+ and I did it! Proud mommy moment and several trips trips to Target and TRU.
Then there was Noah's Ark
And Wheelie's Collection:
And The Nativity for next year for kids to play with:
Then there was Leapfrog Toys:
And a ton of other toys, games and clothes. The kids were sure spoiled! I didn't do to bad either, new coat, some clothes and gift cards, Tim got me more charms for my bracelet. He got clothes, gift cards and a new hunting hat in camo and rabbit fur. Christmas certainly is about the kids. Jack unwrapped all the gifts, including grandparents', he was obsessed with paper.
I feel like December has flown by. Christmas is in 3 days and in 4 little miss Charlotte will be 4 months. Just last night I finally ordered her Baptism invites (I am slacking this year) BUT I realized I have the same size envelopes already so I can address and stamp everything. All I will have to do is stuff them once they show up, to give most RSVP time.
Everyone here has been suffering from runny noses and sneezes currently. Hopefully everything clears up before Saturday/Sunday. Tim is working XMAS eve and XMAS day. So it's me and the kids traveling to family.
Jack is 19 months now. He is a walking, talking, smartie pants. I can barely keep up.
We had him evaluated for Speech 2 weeks ago, he didn't qualify because of course he decided to talk and answer questions in front of the ladies who came over. When shown a book he pointed correctly to all the animals, some we have never gone over before. He pointed to body parts and said words they asked. They were impressed by his ability to repeat so quickly.
char-lot (for charlotte)
Are a few of his new ones. I LOOOVE when he says Char-lot, my heart melts. Finally we are blowing kisses- he is so stubborn!! After learning how to tumble in gym class, we now somersault EVERYWHERE! Swimming has been going awesome the past month. Walking straight in 3 steps down, kicking, blowing bubbles, going under and jumping into the pool/swim teacher's arms.
