Project 365

I decided this year to attempt project 365. Thankfully there is an APP for that. So I can use my phone to take picture and use it to save and organize. I am attempting to try out Flickr now to actually print them and host the image so I can actually do Project Life which I bought last year and never completed or opened. 2012 is the year of 2 kids and tons of adventure.  This is January...

Grad School Spring 2012

I am BACK in.  I am taking another 3 classes this semester and I am hoping they continue to be as good as they seem.  I started doing a lot of the work already, and completed a good number of assignments.  I now must figure out what classes I need for my extension on my license.  I want early but also maybe high school.  So my next step is emailing the state.
Counting down to May when semester ends, deciding now weather or not I should walk in graduation ceremony in May or December or skipping it all together.

Love Story

Linked up with other bloggers... here is the challenge and my response.

1. How long have you and your significant other been together? Since April 2005- coming up on 7 years.
2. How did you meet? {What's your "love" story?} We met at Thunder Ridge Ski Area Winter of 1999-2000.  he taught snowboarding and I did ski lessons.
3. If married, how long have you been married? If not, is this the guy you hope to marry? {do tell} We got married January 2006 by JOP and in the Catholic Church October 2006.
4. If you are married, where did you get married at? Big or small wedding?  If not, where would you like to get married? And will it be big or small? We got married in a big ceremony and reception at Traveler's Rest.
5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Do share! Not really.
6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey. Sense of humor, how he interactions with our kids, personality.
7. Tell us how he proposed? Or your ideal proposal? We got engaged at the USS Normandy's Christmas Party 2005.  I drove down to VA with my cat to move into his apartment for a semester.  Then I got ready for the dance and we went with our roommates from the ship.  Tim wanted to go to this bar we frequented, turns out it was closed for the night.  So we headed back to the Marriott in Norfolk where the party was still going on.  He told me that if his name was called for the raffle to go up with him.  I laughed and said, "yeah sure". A little bit later he WAS CALLED.  So I met him on the dance floor, little did I know he was about to propose.  Our roommates knew, had cameras and Tim got on the microphone in front of over 300 people. The rest is history.
8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberrieschampagne, and rose petals? No flowers, a card and jewelry usually.
9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch? Movie on couch.
10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere? I would like to renew our vows at 10 years, 20, 30, etc- each time doing something different.
11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day. Nothing really.
12. Are you asking for anything this Valentine's day? Nope.
13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love.  Thank your partner, and keep up with surprising him and yourself.
14.  Show us a picture of what love means to you. Our Kids.

We had Charlotte baptized on Sunday at our church.  My brother and Tim's sister were the godparents, weather was perfect and we used the local volunteer firehouse thanks to our friend Kevin helping us out.   We had many people come and join us to celebrate, it was such a nice time.  Thank you for all who celebrated with us.
Charlotte wore MY dress from 26 years ago (my sister also wore it).  I did formal pictures at JCP of her in my dress to keep and pass on to future generations of girls in our family.

I need to update on:

  • Baptism
  • 5months old- Charlotte
  • 20months old- Jack
  • grad school
  • LIFE
I just need to find time when I can sit on the computer and upload pictures then type.
I have been working hard on organization and purging.  As well as a better filing system.  Jack is back in library, gym, swimming and play dates now that all the holidays are over and the rash is gone.

I promise to update ASAP!!  PROMISE
