Love Story

Linked up with other bloggers... here is the challenge and my response.

1. How long have you and your significant other been together? Since April 2005- coming up on 7 years.
2. How did you meet? {What's your "love" story?} We met at Thunder Ridge Ski Area Winter of 1999-2000.  he taught snowboarding and I did ski lessons.
3. If married, how long have you been married? If not, is this the guy you hope to marry? {do tell} We got married January 2006 by JOP and in the Catholic Church October 2006.
4. If you are married, where did you get married at? Big or small wedding?  If not, where would you like to get married? And will it be big or small? We got married in a big ceremony and reception at Traveler's Rest.
5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Do share! Not really.
6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey. Sense of humor, how he interactions with our kids, personality.
7. Tell us how he proposed? Or your ideal proposal? We got engaged at the USS Normandy's Christmas Party 2005.  I drove down to VA with my cat to move into his apartment for a semester.  Then I got ready for the dance and we went with our roommates from the ship.  Tim wanted to go to this bar we frequented, turns out it was closed for the night.  So we headed back to the Marriott in Norfolk where the party was still going on.  He told me that if his name was called for the raffle to go up with him.  I laughed and said, "yeah sure". A little bit later he WAS CALLED.  So I met him on the dance floor, little did I know he was about to propose.  Our roommates knew, had cameras and Tim got on the microphone in front of over 300 people. The rest is history.
8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberrieschampagne, and rose petals? No flowers, a card and jewelry usually.
9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch? Movie on couch.
10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere? I would like to renew our vows at 10 years, 20, 30, etc- each time doing something different.
11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day. Nothing really.
12. Are you asking for anything this Valentine's day? Nope.
13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love.  Thank your partner, and keep up with surprising him and yourself.
14.  Show us a picture of what love means to you. Our Kids.
