Wendy WIlliams, Mamarazzi by @The Moms and @Burlington
Another fabulous event by The Moms- Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein, Burlington and Wendy Williams was yesterday in the city at the Hudson Bond. Christine and I shot down to have some girl time together and with the other mom bloggers. Wendy Williams has a new book out, Hold Me in Contempt, and was ready to chat with us moms about it. Wendy Williams is also a talk show host, mom of a teenager, and author of 7 books.
Burlington provided OOTD for the guest and The Moms (who both picked out same dresses after shopping alone at two different stores) how awesome is that? Burlington carries designer brands for up to 65% off regular prices, they also carry children's clothes, shoes, home goods and Baby Depot inside. I found my baby bedding for Jack at Burlington almost 4 years ago now.
Wendy shared that the book is original, no celebrity or self basis for the book, just imagination and an excellent writing partner. She enjoys romance novels leading her to write her own and reading advice books.
"No one can give you advice because no one really knows you" -Wendy Williams on parenting, moms need to stop lying and just tell the truth (my kid eats candy, watches TV, etc) Another huge laughing point during the conversation between The Moms, Wendy Williams and us women she said in reference to what we need to tell each other [women] is: Lipstick on teeth and sweaty crack lines. It's true, we are so concerned with impressing and looking out for ourselves, be friendly and talk about the good and bad, we're all equal. Her "realness" radiated off her, I am truly a fan.
