One of things I wanted most in our new house was a Command Center, I thrive off organization (and organized chaos). A gallery wall of where everything is. So when we moved in and I saw the blank space off the back door and laundry area I had plans. Lots of plans, we don't have a mud room, so this is the next best thing. Functionality, look and size.

Laundry area with chalk painted cabinets |
What I used:
- calendar- dry erase
- magnetic board
- cork/bulletin board
- hooks
- mail sorter
- frames
- shelf
- items that make sense to you (marker cup, change holder, etc)

How to plan:
I started collecting pieces I liked that I previously had and then went shopping to Marshalls, Target and Michael's Stores. Get a large box or paper to sprawl out and plan where you are placing each item so it flows. I suggest picking a focal point or starting piece on a side and making that the top/bottom and going off that. This was a shelf that had been left on the wall from previous owners and I had painted.

I did add a family quote print in a frame, the letter P and I am looking for one more accent piece to add to it. I also painted the cabinets opposite the wall above the laundry machines two different grey chalk paints and then added a grey carpet runner to also keep with the color scheme and them.
