Day 4: Favorite Book

I read this book when I was in 8th grade.  A memoir of the author's childhood in the NYC foster care system and local resident of my hometown.  He came to talk to my school after we finished the book and his story was just moving.  


 ROALD DAHL is one of my all time favorite children's authors.  I love to use these books to read to my students for fun or do lessons with them.  I cannot wait to begin reading them to Jack
