Elf on the Shelf

This year we started Elf on the Shelf with Jack.  He doesn't fully understand that the Elf reports his behavior back to Santa yet but each morning when he gets out of the bed I ask him where if the Elf and he runs out looking.  That alone melts my heart.  We have read the book, which is also especially sweet since Jack just started sitting down to listen to a story.  Before he would bring us a book and when we started to read he would run away.

So 25 Days of Elf hiding spots.  This year we are just putting him in different spots.  Next year we will get more creative like other families, I am waiting because next year Jack will be almost 3 and understand AND think everything is funny.
